Denver Cat Rescue
AAA Emergency Tree Service Provides
Denver Cat Rescue Services
There are times when cats climb trees and will not or can’t come down, mostly as a result of being chased by a dog or an animal from the wild. We certainly understand how unnerving and upsetting this can be, having rescued many cats over the years and now having 3 rescue cats in our home. For that reason AAA Emergency Tree Service, LLC offers Denver Cat Rescue serviceNationwide with our Network Contractors who have the expertise and specialized equipment to safely return cats and other animals safely home to you. Legally we cannot rescue cats that are on telephone poles, the only company that would be able to do so is the public utilities company in your area. Because of their own liability issues they are often times unwilling, thus leaving no options available. We do charge for this service which is highly dangerous and time consuming with the complexity of dealing with tired and frightened cat or other animal.
If you would like to make arrangements for your cat to be rescued CONTACT us. We'll discuss the details of your particular situation, the estimated cost and with your authorization and a nonrefundable deposit by credit card, we'll make arrangements with our Network Contractor to call you and let you know when they will be arriving. Once the process is started, if you change your mind for whatever reason, the only cost to you would be the nonrefundable deposit. Once the Network Contractor arrives they will give you an exact price unless it's not otherwise possible. Once your cat or other animal is safely brought down and secured in your house we trust you will complete the process by paying the Network Contractor for a Denver Cat Rescue or animal rescue well done.

- Is it true that if a cat's in a tree that it's only a matter of time before it will come down?
Having rescued cats that have been up in trees for as long as a week, I would say it is necessary. As time goes by the kitten or cat becomes weaker through dehydration and the lack of any nutrition and is also effected by the exposure to the heat or cold and the lack of sleep.Over time the cat increasingly looses its' coordination to be able to safely maneuver there way back down the tree. Being the owner of 3 rescue cats ourselves and having rescued many cats over the years, I believe the disruption of this in your life and your personal sanity added to the discomfort and safety of the cat make it clear, that rescuing the cat is the only logical option.
- What's the normal response of cat being rescued?
From my years of rescuing cats there are 3 possibilities. (1) As we climb up the tree, the cat stays in place, welcomes our presence and is receptive to being picked up and taken down the tree. (2) As we climb up the tree and get closer, the cat begins climbing higher and further and further out on a branch. Challenging the skills of our tree climber, we are able to somehow reach the cat and safely bring the cat down. (3) As we start to climb the tree in this last possibility, the cat begins climbing further up and out on the limb of the tree.As we approach closer and closer, unfortunately the cat sees no option but to jump, often times having other branches break its fall. When this happens we suggest and clients often take the cat to a veterinarian, just to make sure everything is ok.In the multiple times this has happened the worst thats happened is that the cats were real sore for a number of days and then recovered fully.- What if a cat is on top of a telephone pole?
This is a very difficult situation that we're not legally able to do anything about, its private property and anyone on their pole would be trespassing. The only possibility is to contact your public utility company and to check to see whether they're willing to do anything. Many times they will not because of the added danger to their employees and rightly so .- Why is there a cost for rescuing a cat?
There are a number of reasons including:(1) the time involved in driving back and forth,in many cities this can be significant.(2)The time it takes to actually climb up the tree.(3)The cost for transportation (4)The expertise, skill and specialized equipment that it takes to accomplish such an operation (5)The liability exposure involved to not only falling but being bit or scratched by the cat .A cat bite that I got many years ago ended up putting me in the hospital for three days because of the nasty germs cats carry in their mouths (6)The cost of running a business and marketing cost.(7) Being flexible to rescue your cat when you need that service, now thats priceless.- What if the cat in the tree isn't mine but still needs to be rescued?
This is a situation that we cannot do anything about nor can we ask or expect our Network Contractors to do anything about. We're in business to provide a service and need to be paid for our time, energy and exposure that rescuing a cat requires. There have been rescues that we've done where neighbors have pooled money to pay for our fees and in a couple of cases we were paid by an agency that rescues cats.- What difference does it make to keep a cat inside versus letting it outside?
As it turns out a cat will have a significantly longer and healthier life if they are kept inside without exception. The dangers of being hit by cars, getting in cat and dog fights and the health risks involved, being hurt or even more likely killed by animals in the wild or being picked up by a stranger are just some of the many reasons to keep your cat inside.Besides, you'll never have to call us to rescue your cat.
